Todos encontramos un pequeño problema cuando venimos a Zúrich o vivimos aquí, y queremos llevar un regalito a nuestros seres queridos cuando los vamos a visitar, y es que hasta las más pequeña tontería te parecerá extremadamente cara.
Mi recomendación:
Ya que te vas a gastar el dinero, gástalo bien y en algo delicioso como es el chocolate 😛
Existen muchas confiterías por toda la ciudad, pero la que veréis en más ocasiones será Sprüngli, ya que está, literalmente, en todas partes (y suele estar llena).
Este establecimiento lleva endulzando vidas desde 1836, y doy fe de que sus chocolates quitan el sentido, aunque también es muy famosa por haber desarrollado su versión de los famosos macarons, con el nombre de Luxemburgerli.
La confitería pone a disposición de los clientes varias alternativas, como tabletas de chocolate, cajas de bombones, pasteles, tartas y chocolates con formas que variarán dependiendo de la temporada que sea (Navidad, Easter…). Yo siempre me decanto por fabricar mis propia cajita de bombones, que consiste en ir diciéndole a la dependienta (siempre son mujeres y te hablarán en alemán suizo) qué bombones quieres incluir en tu regalo. Los precios parten de los 22 CHF aproximadamente, e irán aumentando en función del peso que contenga la caja.
Un punto muy importante es que normalmente, mientras rellenas tu cajita, te dan a probar alguno de los chocolates 😛

If you live in or visit Zürich, you will have to face the fact of bringing a «little present» to your beloved whenever you’re back home, and I say «to face», because bringing souvenirs from Zúrich can be very expensive.
My personal recommendation:
Assuming that you’re spending money, spend it in a delicious thing such as chocolate 😛
You’ll find plenty of chocolate shops all around the city, but the one that you’ll most see will be Sprüngli, cause it is, literally, everywhere (and, btw, it’s usually crowded).
The business is working since 1836, and I can confirm that they are chocolate masters, although they are also famous for their version of the popular macarons, called Luxemburgerli. The confisérie offers many alternatives, like chocolate bars, chocolates boxes, cakes and chocolate with the shape of the season (Christmas, Easter…). I always take the deal of making my own chocolates box, which consists of telling the shop assistant the chocolates that you’d like to include in your box. The prices are from 22 CHF in advance, depending on the weight that you’re box contains.
I can not forget the point that every time you’re filling the box, the assistant may offer you to try one (or two) of the delicious chocolates 😛
